Identify each asserted asset
List the asset, alleged owner, valuation date, evidence source and whether ownership or value is disputed.
Gather valuation and debt documents
Obtain up-to-date statements, secured lending records, leases, title information and independent valuation evidence where relevant.
Record third-party interests
Identify possible joint ownership, gifts, trusts and other interests without assuming their legal effect. The instructed solicitor must assess the relevant legal tests.
Present an auditable schedule
Keep source documents linked to each figure, avoid double-counting and record uncertainty explicitly.
